Getting the Details Right - Niall’s 50th

Let’s be real - we’re not anchoring structures to trees or engineering bridges here. But what we are doing is ensuring we use solid panel frames, clean backdrops & scripted font with a lot of fancy balloons. 🎩

But any installer knows that making a massive display of chrome & shaded blues look balanced, sharp, and perfectly grouped takes a proper eye for detail and a good few hours of hard work before and during the build. 📢

Guy and I wanted this 50th setup to look clean and high-end, and getting those organic clusters to sit exactly right against the velvet panels is where the actual craft comes in. 🎤

Huge thanks to the venue staff for giving us the room to get it done properly - working alongside good local teams makes all the difference.🎺

Quick turnaround at the DoubleTree in Elstree for setting up for the local school prom.

They had the sharp black coloured backdrops dressed with black and gold sempertex balloons.
We dressed the tables to match with the latex bunches to tie the tables together.
The backdrops are all metal framed so knew they would stand the groups snaps and look fantastic for the gram.

It took us about 35 minutes start to finish, most of that was unloading .
Guy pre inflates from our studio as the venues sometimes dont have the availability to allow vendors in earlier. 🕶👞

We’ve been supplying the balloons for this specific local prom for a couple of years now, and it’s a job we always look forward to.

The school staff put a massive amount of thankless work into giving these leavers a proper send-off, so we’re always grateful they keep trusting us to handle our bit of it.📸

It’s a privilege to help play a small part in a big night for the community & a night the leavers certainly will never forget.

We think its wonderful when the students arrive and the room is literally transformed for them.

Dropping off a set of standard latex & heart bunches is the most economical venue dressing . However they still created a personal touch over at [@aldenhamgolfclub we delivered around 11 & left just begore 11.15. We then had to fly over to Kingsburys for a baby shower afternoon tea set up.

There’s no massive secret to table latex, It’s just using proper helium [ we use a big professional grade tank E33] , but we do ensure we tying the knots tight so they hold the helium and the generous hi float we pre coat inside to give the latex a life span much longer than the standard 12 hrs they would last without , stringing , weighing and dressing the base 😀

Making sure the strings are cut exactly the same length so they sit level on the table bagging them after the hi float drys and then Guy knots packs and loads the van.

Simple job, but it changes the feel of the room the minute they’re on the tables.
